Usually, the choice of bridal fabrics can easily be neglected by brides-to-be. Actually, bridal fabrics are closely related to the appearance and price of a wedding dress. Now, let us take a look at some knowledge about bridal fabrics.
Generally speaking, bridal fabrics mainly include: satin, silk, chiffon, lace, taffeta and yarn, etc.
Satin
It is the most commonly used fabric, and its quality and luster is deeply loved by designers and wearers.
Feature: heavy texture, good drape, soft luster, smooth touch and warmth retention. It is appropriate for wedding parties held in spring, autumn and winter.
Style: suitable for a line and mermaid wedding dresses which underscore lines and show ceremonious effect; while ball gown or cathedral train wedding dresses with pearly-luster are usually made of thick satin.
Silk

where can I find a recipe box in the South Bay area?
I'm looking for a recipe box as a gift for a bridal shower; the idea being all her friends will fill out a recipe card to give her. The problem is, I can't find a recipe box. I've found one or two but the designs are not her style. (she likes more modern stuff, her kitchen is going to be black and white with red cherries) I would prefer a box to a binder, but at this point, I'm a little desperate. Does anyone in the Torrance/South Bay area know of a place that carries recipe boxes?
I've tried Amazon, Hallmark, Target, Papyrus, Ross, TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Tuesday Morning, Office Depot, Sur la Table, Borders, Barnes and Noble, and Home Goods. I'm completely out of ideas. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
