Choosing Wedding Cars - Glasgow Bridal Tips
Where to start?
There are a huge selection of vehicles and options available to you for arriving in style on your big day, so how do you go about choosing? Start by getting some ideas about what you like and don't like from bridal magazines and on the internet.
Vintage or Modern?
Think about the theme and venue of your wedding to decide which kind of vehicle will suit the occassion best. Do you want to roll up in a modern limousine or a beautiful vintage car. Is colour important to you? And what about a car for the bridesmaids and mothers of the bride?
Got far to Travel?
For a summer wedding (and depending what country you are in!) the option of a convertible might appeal. But ask youself just how far are you going to be travelling to get to the church or ceremony venue before you consider your options. You might want to set your budget according to how far you actually have to travel! If it's really not very far, you might want to set your budget a little lower. It really comes down to how important a part of your wedding the car is. (Of course if you are staying at the venue the night before, like me, car hire doesn't even need to be considered unless of course you just want to show off and go round the local town or round the block a few times prior to turning up (late in my case!) for your ceremony).
Added Extras?
Joking aside, most bridal car hire firms include certain services. A chauffeur of course is a given! Chauffeur driven vintage convertible vehicles, mordern sleek Mercedes Limousines or if you really want to splash out, what about a Bentley. Prices vary so do your research. Did you know that it costs more to hire a modern Bentley than to have a beautiful vintage convertible Beauford convertible.
Personal Recommendations
As usual, personal recommendation is the best way to find a good bridal car hire firm because it's not just about how the car looks. You want them to turn up on time, you want the chauffeur to be smart and friendly. Do they throw in any extras like champagne or chocolates?
So write down a list of considerations and questions you would like to ask before you start contacting your chosen bridal car hire firm and make sure you turn heads as you arrive in style for your big day!

Where can I find a David's Bridal Style 8937 Dress?
I was at David's Bridal and saw the perfect dress for my maid of honor. The only problem was that they didn't have it in her size and we can't find it! It is style 8937 and is a Halter Brocade Tea Length Dress with Waist Embellishment . I have found the vintage pearl color but the one in the store was like an olive green with pink. We need a size 14 and don't need it until next year but would LOVE to find it!
Did you ask them if they can order it for you?
The one on their website says that it is online only...and they only have it in that one color. I think that the best thing to do is ask the store about the dress and the colors.
They have some similar styles on their website that might look nice as well.
